About the studio
A small team
with senior hands.
CyberShield Dev Solutions started in 2021 in Cotonou, Benin, as a side project run by a couple of engineers who refused to ship sloppy software. Five years later, it is a tight studio with people in Cotonou, Bucharest and a few timezones in between.
We are deliberately small. Every project is staffed with senior engineers from day one, no juniors hidden in the shadow, no offshoring twist. When we say we will build something, our names are on it.

Founder
Damien Padonou
Founder · Principal Engineer
Damien is a polyglot full-stack engineer with a decade of work across Africa and Europe. Trained as a computer engineer, with a master's research project on antispam machine learning, he has shipped products in HealthTech, FinTech, EdTech, PropTech and ConsumerTech.
He leads the studio's technical direction across web, mobile, backend and infrastructure. On client projects, he typically takes the role of lead engineer or fullstack contributor on long-running platforms.
